Honda Bosch MED17.9.3 now available for KESSv2!

Civic Type R now supported through OBD-II

The 734 KESSv2 protocol is now available!

With this new update, you will be able to increase the horsepower and the engine torque of one of the most technological and sporty Honda vehicles, by ensuring an even more aggressive and exciting drive.

Alientech can offer a complete service to its customers, offering the OBD-II programming through KESSv2 with both real and virtual reading for the new models Honda Civic Type R with ECU Bosch MED17.9.3 and microprocessor TC1793.

If the file is available in VR, you can download it, if not, in addition to the reading on the bench, it’s possibile to read the ECU in OBD-II.

This ECU is supported also by K-TAG and, using the ECM Titanium software, you will be able also to modify all the main operating parameters of the ECU: offer a complete and safe service!

Thanks to the new K-Suite update, you will be able to work in OBD-II on the following models:

New functions of Powergate3+: read and write in Dual Protocol mode!

Offer your customers Powergate3+ in Dual Protocol version!!!!

Express the true engine potential, by also optimizing the automatic transmission! Thanks to the new DUAL PROTOCOL function of Powergate3+, you can offer to your customers the remapping of the ECU and of the TCU, through only one device.

In a single operation, Powergate3+ read both the ECU and the TCU data. In this way, when the customer remaps his vehicle, he will write automatically the modified file furnished for the ECU, as well as the one for the TCU, or he may select one of the several combinations loadable on the tool.

Thanks to this new opportunity, you will be able to propose a different solution to your customers! You only need to purchase Powergate3+ and you will be able to update your decoder, thus allowing you to offer alternative procedures and ever more efficient.

The first protocols introduced in DUAL PROTOCOL mode are intended to petrol and diesel RAM 1500 3.0 and 5.7 HEMI fourth-generation vehicles, produced from 2014 to 2020, of the FCA group.

K-TAG Service Mode: Bosch MD1CE101 now supported!

K-TAG Service Mode: from today you can work directly on the bench on the last generation Bosch MD1CE101,

with microcontroller TC299, mounted on many brands.

Through the K-TAG Service Mode communication method, you will be able to work with greater ease, by performing writing and reading through the direct connection to the ECU connectors. In fact, the connection on the bench allows to accelerate, but especially to simplify all the passages, by obtaining the increase in torque and the reduce consumption. In addition, you will be able also to concentrate on the repairing of these work vehicles, a fast-growing trend.

The need to achieve in an easier and quicker way a mapping on agricultural and work vehicles grows every day. Through the last K-Suite update, you will be able to work with K-TAG in Service Mode on the following brands:

  • Case IH
  • Class tractors
  • FTP Industrial
  • New Holland
  • Steyr

Besides the work vehicles, with this release we increase the number of vehicles supported by K-TAG with JTAG Renesas connection method:

You will work, in particular, on the zero-emission vehicles of the Nissan group! You will be able to write, read and also clone the ECU of the latest generation Leaf and e-NV200 model, increasing its power and achieving better performances

The connection between the ECU and K-TAG takes place through the JTAG line and the features available for these protocols are: reading, writing, and cloning. To clone the ECU raises the security level and increases the number of solutions to propose to the vehicle owner.

Continental SIMOS 18.10 now available also for KESSv2!

OBD-II programming now available for vehicles of the VAG group!

The 733 KESSv2 protocol is now available!
Following the recent introduction of the K-TAG communication protocol for the ECUS Continental SIMOS 18.10, we are now able to provide a full service by offering to our customers the OBD-II programming through KESSv2 and the virtual reading for the VAG 2.0T EA888 Gen3 models.

Through this update the increase of power and engine torque becomes even more simple and immediate, to make these vehicles exceptionally fast and exciting.

New VAG vehicles now supported:

  • Cupra Ateca 2.0 TFSI
  • Porsche Macan 2.0 T
  • Seat Leon 2.0 TFSI
  • Volkswagen Arteon 2.0 TSI

How does the Virtual Reading function work?

The Virtual Reading functions is available for Master and Slave versions of KESSv2 with active subscription. To proceed to the virtual reading, you will simply need to perform the vehicle’s ID and the original file will be automatically be downloaded. If the calibration is not available, you can still read the ECU through K-TAG.

BMW X1 with ECU Bosch MG1CS201, controlled by Infineon TC298 micro is now added to the 702 protocol of KESSv2, for free!
During these days, we have updated the 702 KESSv2 protocol, by adding it to a recent variation of BMW X1, without making the subscription renewal necessary for those who have it expired at the moment.

Bosch, Continental and Delphi: new protocols in coming soon for Powergate3+!

Work in advance on BMW, Jeep and Ford!

Inside Alientech Manager, the Powergate management software, is included the “Coming Soon” section. Here you will find a constantly updated list, with all the new protocols that will be gradually released officially.

With Powergate3+ you can work remotely on many of the latest generation vehicles!

Work in advance on the new BWMs equipped with MD1 and MG1. We have added on the list also the microcontroller TC298, installed on the ECUS:

The use of the new protocols requires some additional security operation. To work in advance on the new vehicles, you will need to connect your Powergate decoder, to then access to the Coming Soon section of Alientech Manager. As soon as the vehicle is in your workshop, you will simply need to contact our technical support by using the Help Desk, and you will be guided by our technicians into the proper procedure.

 

K-TAG: new Ford, Mahindra, Kia, Hyundai and Nissan models now available

K-TAG is a tool that guarantees you the exclusivity of certain protocols, in fact, thanks to this latest update, the Alientech customers will be able to work exclusively on the new Ford Kuga version mounted with a 1.5 Ecoboost engine, which supports a Continental EMS2513 ECU, controlled by a microcontroller TC1791.

The Alientech programming tool is extremely adaptable: it is suitable for all your needs, you will be able to work on brands sold worldwide, with two different working solutions, in Boot and in Service Mode (SM).

The connection between the ECU and K-TAG can be done by Boot mode, i.e. with open ECU connection or by Service Mode (SM), thus allowing you to work directly on bench, with opening the ECU.

These functions are both available for the protocol that support the ECU Bosch MEG17.9.21, with TC1724

 Microcontroller, mounted on the most recent vehicles like Kia Rio, Hyundai Solaris, Verna, Accent and Cerato.

The Alientech researchers are very attentive to the market’s requirements: the number of compatibles ECU is truly high, and, in this way, you will be also able to concentrate on a new trend rapidly growing, such as the repairing. We have added to our list, some of the vehicles used for extreme duties or for movements: Blazo truck and Titan XD pick-up.

News on the way: ECU Continental Simos and PCR2.1 now supported by K-TAG Service Mode (SM).

Thanks to the latest K-Suite update, the ECUs Continental PCR2.1, Simos 8.3, SIMOS 8.4, Simos 8.5, Simos 12.1 and Simos 12.2, will be supported by K-TAG Service Mode (SM).

K-TAG Service Mode (SM), how to make a complicated job simple: thanks to this mode you don’t have to open the ECU anymore, but you can read and write by connecting directly through the connector pins, optimizing and speeding up the steps.

A large number of Audi, Seat, Skoda and Volkswagen models, with TC1796 and TC1797 microcontroller, are added to the vehicles list, allowing you to expand your business possibilities. Moreover, these vehicles are also supported by KESSv2: become more and more competitive!

Thanks to the introduction of Continental ECU in Service Mode (SM), we expand the ECU supported in this mode, which are added to ECUs Bosch and Marelli. Goal? Facilitate the work and make it more immediate; with the addition of the ECUs Continental, Alientech sets the goal of covering more and more Continental in Service Mode (SM), as for the ECUs Marelli and Bosch.

This release is mainly focused on the Asian and Russian markets, including numerous models of cars in those markets; from today, in fact, new cars and commercial vehicles will be supported, such as UAZ Patriot, Honda Accord, Mitsubishi Canter, Honda Accord, CR-V and Hyundai Accent. But that’s not all, in fact, there are new motorbike Royal Enfield model and also work vehicles such as Thaco, Shacman, Xcmg, Sinotruck, Chenglong.

Become increasingly competitive in the chiptuning field! From today, with K-TAG SM (Service Mode), you can read and write, without opening the ECU, the ECU Bosch ME17.2.42, ME17.9.71, EDC17CV44, ME17.9.7, EDC17CP06, EDC17CP15, EDC17CP16. Several Citroen and Peugeot models are added to the vehicles list supported by KESSv2!

Many Euro 6 petrol models with Valeo VD46.1 control unit and SH72546 microcontroller, are now added to the list of vehicles supported by our OBD programmer!

You will be able to read and write, through the standard OBD communication line, new PSA group models, such as Peugeot 2008, 308, 5008, Partner Rifter, but also Citroen Berlingo, C3, C4 Cactus, C4 Picasso, DS3, DS7 and many other vehicles.

Thanks to this latest K-Suite update, it is possible to read and write the entire contents of the ECU, including the data contained in the EEPROM, via OBD.
